Brighto Paints Opens Second Exclusive Showroom in Qatar
Unique Trading Co, a leading Qatari building material supplier, recently organized a ceremony to launch the second exclusive showroom of Pakistan’s premier paint brand, Brighto Paints, in Qatar.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, HE Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, attended as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Salman Ali, Pakistan Embassy Commercial Secretary; Abdul Rahman Mohammad M Al-Muftah, Chairman of Unique Trading Co; Imran Rafique, General Manager; and Abdul Ahad Khan, Sales Manager. Also present were Fawad Rana, Saeed Gul, Rasheed Khan, Obaid Rahman, Chaudhary Mazhar Hussain, Usman Idrees, Riyaz Ahmed Bakali, and Malik Nadeem.
The ambassador and Al-Muftah jointly cut the ribbon to inaugurate the showroom. A cake-cutting ceremony followed to celebrate the strong economic ties between Qatar and Pakistan.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Shah expressed his delight in attending the launch. He thanked Unique Trading Co’s leadership for promoting Pakistani products in Qatar and shared a personal anecdote about seeing his own picture at Brighto Paints’ first showroom in Qatar, highlighting the company’s commitment to bilateral trade. He expressed optimism about Brighto Paints‘ continued growth in the region.
The ambassador noted the historically close relations between Qatar and Pakistan, based on shared culture and heritage. While economic ties had previously lagged behind political relations, recent years have seen significant growth in business volume between the two nations.
Chairman Al-Muftah praised the strong brotherly ties and the quality of Brighto Paints’ products. Recalling his visits to Pakistan and Brighto Paints‘ factory, he commended the company’s adherence to international standards and commitment to research and development. He described Pakistan as a beautiful country with warm and welcoming people and thanked the business communities of both nations for their support.
In his welcome address, General Manager Imran Rafique reflected on Brighto Paints’ two-year journey in Qatar since 2018. A short video showcased key milestones, including Rafique’s and Al-Muftah’s meetings with National Sales Manager Mohammed Aqil and Export Manager Muhammad Bilal in Qatar. The video also highlighted their visits to Pakistan, where Al-Muftah inaugurated Brighto Paints’ chemical plant in Faisalabad and met with Brighto Paints‘ senior leadership.
Rafique also announced that Unique Trading Co had expanded operations into Pakistan, launching a showroom in Jhelum in March 2020. Brighto Paints is now set to expand its distribution to neighboring districts. He highlighted the company’s achievements, noting that they had completed 73 projects in Qatar, including the new building of the Pakistan embassy.
Expressing gratitude, Rafique thanked the Pakistan embassy and business community for their unwavering support.
