Unique Trading Company becomes authorised distributor for Newage Cables in Qatar

Newage Cables, Pakistan’s largest cable manufacturing company, has appointed Unique Trading Company as its authorised distributor for Qatar.

Qatar is a thriving economy and offers robust, competitive, and attractive business opportunities and we are determined to promote best Pakistani industrial products in Qatar. The latest venture will further enhance the bilateral trade relations between the two brotherly countries,” remarked Abdul Rahman Mohammed M Al Muftah, chairman of Unique Trading Company.
Established in 1956, Newage Cables (Private) Limited has emerged as one of the largest cable manufacturers and first in its category to be accredited with ISO 9001 in Pakistan owing to its policy of continuous expansion and improvement. The company’s range of cable products meets the requirements of a broad spectrum of applications including construction, electric utilities, distribution, industrial oil and gas, and petrochemical sector.
Unique Trading Co, established in 2003, is one of Qatar’s leading building material supply companies in Qatar and has the sole distribution rights for Brighto Paints, Pakistan’s first multinational paint manufacturing company, since 2018. The company started its operations in Pakistan and inaugurated its showroom in Jhelum city in March 2020.
Al Muftah, accompanied by General Manager of Unique Trading Company Imran Rafique recently visited Pakistan. He met with officials of Jhelum Chamber of Commerce and Industries and briefed them about the lucrative business opportunities offered by Qatar to foreign investors.He also called on Brighto Paints’ Chairman Khawaja Ejaz Ahmed Sikka and discussed the ways to further promote their business ties.
Unique Trading Co also organised an award-giving ceremony in recognition of customers outstanding performance in Jhelum, Pakistan. President of Jhelum Chamber of Commerce and Industries Zahid Hussain Butt graced the occasion and gave away awards.
